Hellebore are a symbol of peace and serenity, although this hasnt always been the case. Drawn with February in mind, another of the early bloomers, persisting through harsher climates to remind us of what can be achieved despite conditions.
 
Hand-drawn by me, printed on premium archive quality, 308gsm 100% Cotton Rag paper by Hahnemühle and signed in graphite. The super matt finish of Hahnemühle Photorag gives excellent depth and detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel.
